Hi, I'm Nancy Alexander, and I've loved exploring the fiber arts for 60 years, from embroidery to felting and more. Marbling allows me to capture the rich patterns and colors of the natural world, with both textiles and paper.

Marbling involves color and chemistry: floating paint on a base of thickened water and making beautiful patterns, both traditional and free form. I lay silk or paper on top of paint to create a one-of-a-kind print. I absolutely love that magical moment when I get to pull up the material and see a unique piece of art.
